August 27, 2016 - dedication of John Depew headstone at Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens PA. (more photos at bit.ly/JohnDepew)

April 9, 2016 - ceremony at the Bradford County Courthouse to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the GAR. At its zenith, this veterans organization's membership numbered in the hundreds of thousands nationwide. Eventually, as all the members were passing over to the eternal campground, the United States Congress appointed the Sons of Union Veterans to carry on the traditions of the GAR in perpetuity.

November 8, 2014 - Descendants of Bradford County Civil War Soldiers are introduced at Tioga Point Museum

July 31, 2014 -- Members and family of SUV Silas Gore Camp #141 clean Major General Henry Madill's monument at Wysox Cemetery. Henry J. Madill was originally a Major in the 6th PA Reserves and went on to be Colonel of the 141st PA Volunteers. Late in the war he received a promotion to Brigadier General and was, at the end of the war, raised to the rank of Major General.

June 26, 2014 -- Private Silas Gore Camp #141, Bradford County's Sons of Union Veterans representatives assembled at the Ulster Cemetery and cleaned the Civil War monument which was erected there in 1898.

June 21, 2013 - Russ Burkett, of Private Silas Gore Camp #141, presented "Rifled Musketry" as part of the Bradford County Historical Society's "Friday Night at the Museum" summer programming, with reenactors from 141PVI assisting.
